Whilst three-FEA has not been formally analyzed on precisely the same level as common amphetamines, it can be presently assumed that like other substituted amphetamines with substitutions at very similar positions, it almost certainly functions primarily like a triple reuptake inhibitor and/or releaser with the monoamine neurotransmitters serotonin
